Successor of FotonCom, with hardened security, leaving behind The communication layer for Business Terminal, the windows desktop application of Budapest Bank for home banking.
On server side it's a Linux application (Oracle Enterprise Linux based RPM), on the client side, it provides the interface for the desktop app as an ActiveX control to support Visual Basic development.
Fun fact: The ActiveX dll is also built and deployed on a Linux environment with using only the Linux ecosystem. It was a tough nut to crack, because Linux is not so fond of Microsoft-proprietary technologies such as OLE32, but still did it though. No Visual Studio was harmed during the process. ;)
